24 Two-Part Inventions for the Piano, Op. 1, Books I & II

Composer, Benjamin Savage

Inspired by the homonymous keyboard works of J.S. Bach, these 24 two-voice inventions were composed in the Italian city of Torino between 2008 and 2009. This collection was conceived as an idiosyncratic yet reverential homage to Bach and the great piano composers of western classical music. It is my hope that pianists of all levels will find something to enjoy in this colorful set of pieces.
