Dog Day Tango
Dog Day Tango was written for the first Double Reed Day at Schenectady County Community College. My wife, Karen Hosmer, is the oboe professor at SCCC. On one hot August day she asked me to write something for the Double Reed Day she had planned for that fall. I wanted to write something sultry for my wife and given the particularly hot summer, a Dog Day Tango seemed like just the thing.
